Volunteer with Us for the 2025 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships
The National Aboriginal Hockey Championships are coming to Kamloops, BC from May 4-11, 2025, and we need your help to make this incredible event a success!
Volunteers are the heart of every tournament, and we’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in various roles. This is your chance to support the athletes, connect with the community, and be part of an exciting national event.
Volunteer Roles Available
We have a variety of positions to suit your interests and skills:
Welcome & Information: Greet guests, answer questions, and help attendees find their way.
Security: Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Merchandise Sales: Assist fans with purchasing tournament memorabilia.
Penalty Box Door Openers: Be rinkside to keep the game running smoothly.
Music: Help set the tone and atmosphere with great tunes during the games.
50/50 Sales: Support fundraising efforts by selling raffle tickets.
Team Ambassadors/Hosts: Be the go-to person for a team, assisting them with any questions or needs throughout the tournament.

Boogie the Bridge is Kamloops’ largest celebration of movement. Boogie is about so much more than running or walking and a single day event.
Boogie the Bridge has inspired hundreds of people to make a difference in their lives, the lives of their families and the lives of their community members, through movement and community involvement.
Now, one of Kamloops’ signature events, the “sea of red” is a visual representation of the passion, commitment and love that began this grass roots event and that continues to ground it to this day. Join us for this amazing event that is a total party on the run with bands, inspirational chalking, and all the cheering and encouragement you could ever want all along the route.
Participate (run or walk) in the 1K Kids’ Mini Boogie, 5K, 10K or 21.1K Half Marathon distances.

Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and their friends from Sesame Street are coming to your neighborhood to say hello! At Sesame Street Live! Say Hello, sing, dance, and play alongside your favorite furry friends, all while you follow Elmo’s puppy, Tango, in a fun game of hide & seek. So put on your dancing shoes and make your way to where the air is sweet for this all-new celebration on Sesame Street! “We are overjoyed and honored to be collaborating with Sesame Workshop to bring a brand-new tour of Sesame Street Live to stages across Canada,” said Round Room Live Founder and Co-President Stephen Shaw. “Round Room Live has a long history of exciting, innovative, and engaging productions, and we’re thrilled to combine our dedication to premium, unforgettable entertainment with the beloved characters of Sesame Street in an interactive musical adventure that will create memorable experiences for families of all ages.”

YKA Hot Chocolate Festival 2025

YKA Hot Chocolate Festival - February 2025!
For the entire month of February 2025, participating cafés and restaurants will offer a signature hot chocolate drink for you to sample. They'll compete for the Gold, Silver, and Bronze titles for YKA's Best Hot Chocolate 2025. New to this year, we added a fourth category of spirited hot chocolates with three locations offering their hot chocolate with a splash of alcohol for those who choose.
These delicious concoctions will warm your belly and your heart, knowing that $1-3 from each drink helps the Mount Paul Community Food Centre (CFC) reach even more community members.

How it works!
Choose a hot chocolate from our list of vendors, get yourself out to their location to make your purchase, Follow the link, and then rate the drink to help us decide who will be crowned YKA’s Best Hot Chocolate! You can rate as many different drinks as you can try. We challenge you to try them all.
Each unique drink you vote for gives you a chance to win prizes throughout the festival. Multiple votes for the same drink will count as only one vote/prize entry

Welcome to the Terry Fox Ride of Hope, Kamloops gravel ride.
Join us for a spectacular tour through the mountains of Kamloops, Barrier, and Sun Peaks as we ride to raise fund for the Terry Fox Foundation. As a group we raised just over $17,000 last year, and we have made it our goal to surpass this in 2025 and reach the $20,000 mark.
Get ready for a day of spectacular views, great company, and some of the most scenic gravel roads in Interior BC. Route TBD.
