Kamloops man charged, wanted after North Shore aggravated assault

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for a man at the centre of an investigation into a serious assault on the Kamloops North Shore last week.
In a news release, spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the incident happened last Wednesday (May 8). Officers were called to the 400-block of Tranquille Road, finding a man with serious injuries. The man was rushed to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The B.C. Prosecution Service has now approved a charge of aggravated assault against Kamloops resident Mattheau Michael Myron Aldridge.

“The accused’s whereabouts are currently unknown and we are turning to the public in hopes that they can help lead us to his location,” said Evelyn. “If you see Mattheau Aldridge, please do not approach him; and instead, call police right away.”
