Salmon Arm RCMP release new photos of vehicle involved in hit and run of woman

SALMON ARM, B.C. — RCMP have released new photos of a suspect vehicle involved in hit and run of a woman in Salmon Arm.
On Friday, Dec. 8, at 7:59 p.m., RCMP responded to a pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle was travelling westbound on Fifth Avenue SW, and struck the victim at Third Street SW.
The victim, a woman in her 40’s, was transported to hospital by ambulance with significant non-life-threatening injuries.
Salmon Arm RCMP have obtained new footage with a clearer picture of the suspect vehicle, which is shown below.

“RCMP are actively investigating this incident and are requesting the driver to contact the Salmon Arm RCMP,” Cst. Andrew Hodges of Salmon Arm RCMP said.
