Prince George man missing after visiting friend in Logan Lake: RCMP

LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — RCMP are looking for a Prince George man who may have gone missing in the Kamloops area on his way to Vancouver Island.
BC RCMP spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy says John David Young, 67, was travelling alone from Prince George to Duncan. He was last seen visiting a friend in Logan Lake on Sept. 21.
His last known whereabouts was westbound on Highway 97D on his way to Ashcroft or Merritt.

Young’s family members say it is out of character for him to be out of contact for so long and they are concerned for his well-being.
